Powerful kicks, tribal chants, and wonderful progression that spans just over 7 minutes. Rey&Kjavik's "Dan" is a hypnotic progressive/deep house for when you're looking to escape reality. The track is part of his 2020 2-track EP Dan Noc EP, and ... yeah, it's the opening track as it figures.
Rey&Kjavik is Offenbach-based producer and label owner of RKJVK and while this is the first time I stumble upon his music, I'm really eager to explore it in-depth as I love what he has created in this EP.
The whole kick, kick, kickkickkick pattern that's sprinkled throughout the composition is just superb. With its dark, yet hopeful feel, "Dan" is the perfect track to play at sunrise on a morning rave.
