A few hours left until my favourite time of the year, the night of the 24th! I'm holding so many fond memories of that day, being around my family, cooking, and just having a laugh. Growing up, because of my dad's profession, we didn't always have the chance to be together at the table, but on that day, nothing else mattered, and maybe that's why I cherish this day more than anything. Not because of traditions or anything like that, but because we were all together and life just felt on pause.
Today is going to be another beautiful day (despite the gloomy vibe outside), so I am gearing up with some chill soundtracks, and that's where riel's new 4-track EP 445 came to the rescue. "sage" is one of the most blissful instrumentals I've heard in a while, and it puts me in the exact type of mood I want to be. Stress-free, grateful, happy.
