Another great comeback from the Norwegian duo Röyksopp who released their latest album, The Inevitable End on Spotify and iTunes and will soon be out on CD, vinyl and download (probably the 10th of this month).

I strongly suggest you to give a listen to the whole record, but if you're not convinced yet, here it is a little preview with the 12th track "Thank You" - one of the most soft and melodic of the record in pure Röyksopp style: cold and beautiful.

There were rumor that this was the real "inevitable end" of the musical production of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland but fortunately the farewell is referred only to the album format as you can read from this quotation:

“We feel like this is a goodbye to the traditional album format… In our consecutive run of albums, we have been able to say what we want to say and do what we want to do with the LP. We’re not going to stop making music, but the album format as such, this is the last thing from us.”

So, long live Röyksopp! We are looking forward to hear what's next .
