Saib's new EP came to life yesterday and it really turned my world around. This is a snapshot of something I said during my chat with Bas from Chillhop Records regarding today's feature - Mangroves' opening track "Whale Call".

i haven't been so in love with a track in months
i mean i like tracks a lot but this one is like...
if someone asks me why i love chillhop, then ill link this track :D

Then we spoke about us sharing and uploading the track and as you can imagine this really made me jump out of my chair. The whole EP, and this track in particular, is the embodiment of that gentle, stress-free feeling I always chase when I look for laid back beats. I feel I can just float around forever and this sound will just keep me above everything unnecessary and gray. Stream / download the full release here.
