“leave” is a silky smooth collaboration between Mensing and salted butter that is bound to bring you peace and slow down your breath. There’s little information out there about these artists but they’ve crafted this chillhop track with a lo-fi ambiance that gives me the Friday feels on a Monday, which is rare and much needed.
I was especially moved by the echoing vocals that paired with the jazzy elements foster a sense of freedom and an illusion of multidimensionality.
