“Chauncey’s Dream” is NOT just any track! This is the kind of tune tailor made for daydreamers as one is seamlessly transported elsewhere by virtue of the soundscapes lavishly decorated by Sandy Hawkins.
The synths are shimmering with vibrant colors, but not in an abrasive manner. Like velvet against velvet they smoothly mingle and corroborate with the intention of soothing the listener into serenity. I can’t neglect to mention the sensual saxophone adornment in the closing chapter of the track – yes, ‘chapter’ because “Chauncey’s Dream” plays out like a spellbinding story imbued in 80’s nostalgia. This is definitely my favorite find this week!
