This is a "song about walking on sand and forgetting who you are", which is exactly what I feel right now. Somehow, not particularly stoked about anything right now. I think the lock down is slowly getting into my head and it feels heavy for no good reason. Maybe it's okay to be just sad. You know the feeling of having stuck in your throat? And you want to explore, but you can't. That one. Also, that song surely helps for the mood.

Actually, it's one of the most beautiful sounds I've found this week when it comes to intimate, lonesome feel. I first found santpoort because of my review of Chillhop's Summer Essentials. His track "rolling down this lazy wave" felt like "the feeling of someone hugging you for good night" so I really wanted to dig deeper into his sound. Hence, I found this out-of-this-world thing called "that day the sky fell on your face".

I've said this time and time again - any artists who manages to move me is instant love in my book. You'll surely be hearing more of santpoort soon.
