Now this is a fascinating listening experience! Savri makes quite a statement with their latest single "Holunder", a jazz track inspired by 90's UK Jungle and trip hop!
Savri is a Swiss band headed by Severin Bruhin, and in a short period of time he has garnered national radio play and performed at festivals with his band. Their new release "Holunder" is a track that's littered with surprises when it comes to song structure, and when it comes to instrumental arrangements. The centerpiece of the experience is certainly the uplifting brass section, and the off-kilter rhythm section that emulates a slight breakbeat vibe. This is honestly one of my favorite nu jazz discoveries of the year.
