Another amazing Friday, holding a surprise.
The US singer/rapper Rae Khalil, who's signed to Anderson .Paak's APESHIT label & will be supporting NxWorries on their US tour this fall, comes along for a feature on the latest Ships & Hardships single.
"Strawberry", out via Vokall Records, carries the LA-via-Amsterdam duo's signature spacey synth sound, awesome drum groove, and Rae's vocals sitting between subtle rapping & tastefully husky singing. The song "is a heartfelt tribute to all the feels music can give you," and I can tell you it does give us the chills, in the most awesome way.
This tune follows Ships & Hardships' single with Benny Sings and is part of their upcoming EP, which will feature a range of internationally acclaimed artists (still to be announced).
