How about we enjoy the sunrays with the perfect balance of smooth & groovy?

A new find for me, Melbourne-based singer SHRETA, brought "Cruise" which instantly sent me bike-riding across the coast, enjoying the warm breeze (it's summer in Australia after all). An r&b gem with a delightful bassline & drum groove and woozy synths - and astounding vocal runs that you can't get enough of.

Fun fact - in "Cruise", they sampled Logic & Wiz Khalifa's "Indica Badu", which in turn took Erykah Badu's renowned "Didn't Cha Know" - so no wonder I immediately thought of it the instant I heard the song.
