"Vann du livet?" is one of my favorite releases from Yukimi so far since she started her solo project. The harmonies floating in the background really create a sense of weightlessness.
This track marks her first release since she dropped her compelling debut album For You, and it's great to see how she has taken the sound from that album and evolved with it. Dina Ögon complements "Vann du livet?" with passionate Swedish vocals, leading to a verse from Yukimi in Swedish too, which caught me by surprise. Their dreamy vocal presence becomes juxtaposed by upbeat drums that pack a punch, along with slick guitar arrangements, ultimately making the track sit comfortably somewhere between indie and r&b in quite a sensual manner.
