2 talented producers Slackin Beats and Kamohelo, joined by British Nigerian jazz artist/poet Joshua Idehen Joshua Idehen explore what happens when you blend bedroom pop, indie electronic, and breakbeats. The mellow, experimental, and dynamic production blends seamlessly with lyrics that explore the various dimensions of time.
"TIME" is taken from Slackin Beats and Kamohelo's new 4-track EP CROOK which I couldn't recommend highly enough. It feels more like a story than a purely sonic experience. Not much is known about the artists themselves, besides the fact that Kamohelo is hailing from South Africa, but currently exploring the depths of Northern Europe. That being said, listening to their work does feel eye and ear-opening and it really feels like a breath of fresh air.
