One of the albums I’ve been most looking forward to this year is Logic1000’s Confirmation, a project held together by its lush, soothing atmospheres.
In fact, her new body of work leans more towards a chill, wind-down aesthetic than something for the clubs, and this is a style of Logic1000 I quite appreciate. A good example of this is "The Girl" with yunè pinku. Throughout the track, her vocals seamlessly float over the hip-hop-inspired drums like a feather in the wind. This works beautifully with the track's soundscapes, especially since the mix is shrouded by these woozy synths that allow listeners to ease right into the experience.
