"The worst part is wanting more" sings Stacey on her debut track, "Worst Part". And that's exactly what this phenomenal song from the Toronto singer leaves me wanting: more.

The singer showed up in my inbox with just a bare description of what kind of music she makes, but that was all it took. Stacey's self-described "stark minimalism" is quite impressive, and has completely blown me out of the water with her debut track "Worst Part". It may just be that I'm a sucker for simplistic piano tracks, but I think this one stands above most competition in its genre. She manages to pack a very emotional punch in an extremely tiny atmosphere. If this song were a cup, it would be overflowing with liquid feelings.

Stacey has plans to release an eponymous EP in early December (the 5th, to be exact), creatively for sale on individual thumb drives, for which you can see a short preview of here. Lucky for us at Stereofox, we got an advance listen, and can reassure you that every single track on there is just as stunning as this one, and is most definitely worth the wait.
