Strama is back with another fresh r&b tune and it's a jam.

After the gorgeous "Milk and Honey" the singer, songwriter and producer returns with this captivating tune of a gentle melancholic nature.

"Cycle" is written, recorded and produced from Strama's bedroom in both Holland and London. Dedicated to a DIY ethos, she is a completely self-taught producer, and although the topline of the song was written 3 years ago, it wasn’t until Strama could take the production into her own hands that we hear the captivatingly sleek version it is today. Speaking of the track, she says,

I really hope this song can be a cathartic song about heartbreak and breakups. It’s about when you finally understand that you’re ready to eliminate yourself from this toxic situation. When you’ve established your boundaries but the person keeps chasing you in an unhealthy way, they only care about ‘winning you’ rather than what you want and your feelings involved - they want what they can’t have. But if you do give in/want to try things again with someone, their response changes; they don’t want you back or treat you properly, it’s all games, it’s a really messed up cycle.”

The catchy bassline, moving guitar works and Strama's beautiful vocals make it really hard not to play the song on repeat. The track comes with a lovely video, which you can watch below:
