If this track came out before "Sicko Mode", I bet Drake may have considered changing his line to "Stripess over checks - that's what I like" if he had heard this.

All jokes aside, throughout "Work It" Stripess flaunts his knack for experimental yet palatable sound design especially since he uses coarse textures to breathe life into the track. He further toys with 'the rules of production' by placing his bass and kick in stereo, and something which also grabbed my attention is the manner he subtly tucked in dreamy elements into a beat that's somewhat abrasive.
