Today, we're slowing things down as we celebrate Sundreamer's (edapollo) brand-new 6-track EP, released via our own label.
Really gentle type of electronica, and I clearly remember when I saw the visuals that came with it, it felt like a match made in heaven. If there's a soundtrack to dive into the ocean's hidden corners, then that's this EP, especially the opener, "Thoughts Like Balloons". Feels like a mix of Boards of Canada, Tycho, and Catching Flies, with a splash of aerial ambient influences. A great way to slow down, if you ask me.
"Memory Bloom began as a private creative outlet, a way for me to translate quiet feelings and memories into sound. Blending soft atmospheres with slow, meditative movement, the EP invites listeners into a state of rest and reflection. It is offered with the hope that it brings comfort, calm, and mental ease," Ed shared with us.
