T-Bruin is a U.S-based rapper who has been releasing music since 2016, and ever since he has been gradually building a devout fan base. Recently, he dropped A PERFECT DAY 2 LIVE, a project that dives into themes around relationships, perseverance, and more. One of the standout moments was certainly "WASN'T 4 YOU", especially since I came into this already being a fan of Donsmith. The instrumental is calming and minimal, thus shining a light brighter on the vocals and lyricism - and it's really the rapping that breathes life into the track. Glistening pianos and jazz-like drums add a sense of elegance to the experience, while the chemistry between the two artists gives the track an effortless conversational quality.
