Before stepping into the spotlight as an artist, Berlin-based TAM spent years working as a music journalist and host of formats such as the PULS Musikanalyse Podcast and ARTE Tracksplorer. Since beginning her own musical journey in 2020, she's developed a sound rooted in neo-soul and R&B, drawing inspiration from queens of the genre Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin alongside contemporary voices such as Mahalia, Olivia Dean, and Joy Crookes.
