The Drums is one of my favorite bands and I've seen them perform live a few times and I would love seeing them again someday. It has been two years since the release of their album 'Portamento'. Frontman Jonny Pierce was working on his solo LP which was released last year.

'Magic Mountain' is the first single from the upcoming album 'Encyclopedia' which will be released on September 23rd. Jonny Pierce says that the band was feeling angry, alone and confused when they made the new album and they wanted to make something "honest". So, I'm curious what the new album will sound like...
