Who could have thought that something made by MGMT (back in the days, now it's not that big of a surprise) can be covered and sound much better than the original? I couldn't. The Ooks of Hazzard prove everybody wrong with their ukulele (!!) cover of "Kids" by MGMT.

A 9-piece band brought a completely new atmosphere to the song. It's not that hip and upbeat anymore, but somewhat much more adorable and lovable. They have 7 ukuleles, an accordion, and a cajón and this all comes together in a brand new amazing folk sound. It's quite hard to make electroniс music sound folky, but The Ooks of Hazzard did a great job.

You should check out the video as well, as you can see them all sitting in line with their instruments being all cute. and folky, taking turns in signing. The cover is not perfect, the vocals are not perfect, but this is what makes it so good.

They also covered Radiohead and a bunch of other famous bands, but it is close to impossible to find anything in decent quality. Let's hope they will come out of the cave and upload some more awesomeness.
