Turnstile's NEVER ENOUGH was hands down my favorite album to arise from last year. In 2026, we're treated to a body of work that reimagines the album through the lens of acts like Four Tet, Faye Webster, Floating Points, Elton John, and much more.

"LIGHT DESIGN" serves as one of the heaviest moments on the album; however their frequent collaborator BLOOD ORANGE has transformed it into an angelic experience that's bound to have you floating. Roaring power chords are traded for glistening acoustic guitar plucks, and at the same time, instead of drums that crash over the mix we're acquainted with, rhythmic textures that fall gracefully. Devonte's smooth vocal performance is beautifully complemented by an uplifting flute section solo adding another layer of warmth and serenity to a track that feels almost weightless.
