Somewhere

I have to say - it was a pretty awesome week for our own label. We worked with artists from across the spectrum of genres we focus on, ranging from laid-back, jazzy energy to upbeat, but dark electronica. I feel exhausted, but extremely happy to be part of these artists' journeys.

Today, we spotlight the second single from the upcoming Toshiki Soejima album, Komorebi, scheduled for release in the summer of 2026. The Tokyo neo-soul guitarist teamed up with Seoul keyboardist Chill The World for "Somewhere", where the duo blends slick guitars, ethereal synths, and chill hip hop drums. What I loved the most about the instrumental was the unusually cool retro vibe it gives off. Not sure if I describe it the right way, but it does feel like a walk through New York in the 80s.
