One of the bodies of work I'm eagerly anticipating this month is TWO LANES' third studio album Everything That Remains, and so far the singles, along with this one, have given us a compelling glimpse of what to expect.
The tracks lean a lot more towards a softer, dreamy type of electronic music that's suitable for closing your eyes and stepping into a daydream. "Everything Remains" encapsulates this and more with its slow, hushed, rhythm section and melodic progression. Piano arrangements glisten in the mix like the ocean horizon during a summer sunset, while strings ebb and flow as if they are gentle waves pulling us deeper into the experience. Whether this track holds space in the background or has a firm grip on your attention, you're bound to feel something.
