I must say I found this "Calliope" track in a very, very special moment and it gave me the exact feeling I was looking for. Plus, the 5 piece are seriously awesome band and... you know, as a guy trying to write about music it makes me happy every time I find a new obsession.

The guys from Waterstrider are gearing up for their debut album Nowhere Now and "Calliope" is the second single off that record. Beautiful percussion, interesting guitar interplay and of course that silky voice will make you feel like traveling  through some exotic landscapes.

Band like Waterstrider, Hundred Waters, Salt Cathedral and Little Dragon are shaping their own pretty cool scene... not sure how to describe it, but there's something seriously exciting about their sounds.
