This may be a strange comparison although the first time I heard this track, it felt like a delightful fusion between the styles of Phantagram and Beach House.

The drums have this Hip-Hop like sway to them, yet the vocals feel like a day dream as they are beautifully blurred within in the mix due to the echoes of reverb. What's interesting about this track and the EP titled Way Out, is that it was inspired after a series ups and downs the producer went through. Tragedies such as continuous illness and heavy damage to his home through flooding and fire. More than anything, this Dream Pop gem sounds optimistic rather than sorrowful. As if he's close to reaching a level of acceptance to what has happened in the past but not quite there yet.
