As an avid electronic fan, I find when listening to a lot of electronic music that some tracks risk falling into similar patterns and styles, straying away from creating something distinctive. This is certainly not the case with Waywell as I am blown away with his track "Tube", it is thoughtfully lucid track, yet conversely, a very mysterious one, being sure to continually keep you guessing.
The track perfectly showcases the young producer's talent, and leaves you desperate for more- cannot wait to see what comes next!
Citing Bonobo and Floating Points as influences, it is not hard to see that, but his influences stretch much farther than that, from Pink Floyd to 90´s trance; unpredictable and versatile are the words that spring to mind when mulling this over; all you would want from a producer. Keep an eye out for this guy, he is for sure one to watch.
