Hailing from London We The Committee don't seem to have a massive fan base and I keep asking myself why. I can easily compare them to The xx, Daughter, Best Coast and these are very flattering comparisons. The duo describe their sound as cinematic, haunting and honest.
There is something mesmerizing about these guys and the music they are making: it's delicate, dark, but with a lot of passion and feeling. "This Won't End Quietly" is one of their first releases, followed by a couple of EP's later on. And the track gives me chills.
Check them out, give them some love and spread the word. Bands like this must be heard.
