Whenever we stumble upon a Wesley Joseph track we find ourselves in a cinematic universe. There, all the elements are arranged by Joseph himself.

He moves to London to become a filmmaker, but the city life inspires him to grab what he can and put in a melody. He found collaborators like A.K. Paul and Dave Okumu, and his childhood friend Jorja Smith was there by his side until all we wanted to know was the lyrics to his songs.

After the spectacular ULTRAMARINE album from last year, Wesley is back with the track "MONSOON" where he dares us to keep pace with his fast words and gripping chorus. It is coming from a dark place while searching for light and blending r&b, hip-hop, and future pop pins, trying to keep his world from falling apart.
