Sometimes things just surprise you. This band, called White Denim, has definitely done so. What's more, is that I was so surprised I'd never heard of them before until I came across them as an associated act to some band on wikipedia.
They come from Austin, Texas and combine a wide variety of genres into a lovely sound that I don't often come across. I tend to class them as a progressive rock band, but apparently they have gone through many different styles since their forming in 2006.
"At Night In Dreams" is from their latest album, Corsicana Lemonade, released last month. It's a song that has all the elements for a classic progressive rock song. What ever that may be. It sounds great and I strongly recommend you take a good look and listen at their well done work!
