Spotify has just published it's year in review (it's honestly almost like Christmas for me) and I realized that Young Fathers is my most listened artist in 2018. With that I had a realization that we have a desperate lack of Young Fathers on the fox.

One of the first things I want you to do is to watch their video to the tune below. It's definitely one of the better videos I've seen lately. When you start taking the song apart you'd notice that technically none of its elements should make sense together, but it just sounds so damn good. The way the track comes together makes me slightly anxious (especially this manic heavy breathing in the first few seconds), but it's so easy to get addicted to it. I keep on thinking that these guys remind me of modern day Bloc Party from their golden days.

Their album Cocoa Sugar has been on my repeat the whole year, that says a lot!
