This may be the first time we've featured music from an Idols finalist on Stereofox. Zee Dyasi is a South African r&b and soul vocalist who gained national attention as a Top 5 finalist on Idols SA. For her debut release as an artist, "Saturday", she has veered towards neo-soul in a manner that's not only nostalgic, but also incredibly comforting. The soft keys across the instrumental contrast the punchy drums and the groovy bass line, and I feel this dynamic adds depth that complements Zee's lively vocal performance.
