The Dutch producer is gearing up for his forthcoming EP Unlike You and today's feature is a good example of what's ahead for us listeners.
The track features a multitude of sections - all arranged as masterfully as an orchestra - creating the classic ZES journey-like feel to the song. The array of synths and beats ultimately combining to create an ecstatic drop. Zes explains:
“4D is about a new dimension opening up for me after my breakup. The journey to true self- rediscovery starts with this song. Overall, to me it’s all about closure. It’s purely instrumentals on the EP, so no real lyrics aside of a few chops.The EP goes through making peace with my decisions and managing criticism or hateful sentiments from others.”
