"Indiana" was the first song by Adrianne Lenker that I listened to. I immediately sent her a message asking her if it was possible to share it on souncloud. Now when I am listening to the rest of the album Hours Were the Birds I realize I could have asked her to do the same for the rest of the songs. They are that good and it is hard for me to choose a favourite one.
"Indiana" consists of a subtle sweet-melancholic instrumental ( a single guitar melody) and Adrianne Lenker's beautifully calming voice.
The ten tracks in the album embroider a pattern of simple catchy guitar tunes, some more cheerful, others less and with a dose of gloom. This said, I am sure at least one will resonate in the same frenquancy as the mood you are in.
