We finally have the pleasure of experiencing Kidswaste's new EP Spleen in its entirety.

After getting a taste of the EP from the two singles "More Colours" (feat. Chelsea Cutler) and "Wild" (feat. Khai), I began counting the days for the full release. Throughout this collection of beautiful tracks, there is a recurring theme of intricate guitar patterns, enchanting vocals and captivating percussion intertwined with calming synth work.

This incredibly personal EP truly demonstrates Kidswaste's full potential as an artist and displays his ability to collaborate with fellow musicians to create a perfect balance of sound and emotion. The artist puts it best, stating:

“Spleen transcribes the movement created by Charles Baudelaire into music. In French,"splénétique" refers to a state of pensive sadness or melancholy. I tried really hard togive a similar feeling to my music, to be able to deliver a bit of my French culture to others, and give a more meaningful sense to my music”

This release will definitely be a recurring staple as we begin to grow closer to spring, as with every listen something new seems to appear from within one of the five tracks.

Stay up to date.
