I feel a certain type of personal satisfaction when I discover great new music that I have never heard before. Not one but whole ten songs constitute of my latest finding. The Memory CNTRL album by Night Owl is an absolute audio beauty. It is the first and only album so far by Night Owl that skillfully combines electronic, trip hop, experimental and ambient elements together. Night vision, the first song of the album gently teleports you at night time in the midst of the forest, or at least it did teleport me. You can hear an owl hooting as the beats slowly engulf you and I just can’t wait for summer or at least spring to come. In a clear night sky evening, to lay down outdoors, perhaps on a flat top roof, eyes wide open and mind wondering among the stars, with Night vision playing in your headphones – that must be very relaxing.

I will not describe each song separately as the mood of the first track pretty much continues in a linear direction throughout the whole album.  It is easy to follow the vibes as the transition from one song to the next is smooth and progressive. Songs titles such as "Nocturnal, Night Vision and Moon" advise you to enjoy the album not until the sun is fully set and I could not agree more. In conclusion, Memory CNTRL album brings you the tranquility and warmth of the night charging you with nothing but positive energy. It is up to you to decide your location – chilling at home in dim candle light, stretched out lazily on the sun chair in the back yard or taking a midnight walk in the park.
