Alex Hoevelmann is a German producer who has been making waves with his melodic house and downtempo/electronica infusion. On "Haunted" however, he blends this with an indie touch as luminous guitar arrangements carry the progression. The presence of Propellar's ultra-smooth vocals elevates the track with a dreamy, ethereal quality that perfectly complements its haunting atmosphere. I can't neglect to mention how this is contrasted by raw, punchy drums to keep the dreamy textures anchored in a sense of rhythm and urgency.
