Alpines is the name I was not familiar with until I heard "Completely". A great introduction to the band. Apparently the guys have been quiet since 2014 and are now back with a much stronger sound.

"Completely" is a very solid experimental R&B number. It's quite dark and moody, yet Catherine Pockson’s emotive vocals create a very emotional and fragile soundscape. Overall, the track is very slick and so masterfully produced that I wonder how these guys are not more popular than they are. It's the perfect late night listen.

I really hope that there is more to come from Alpines soon.
