A fresh hip hop blast by US producer and multi-instrumentalist Anitek.
"Relics" is a tight instrumental piece, which draws inspiration from the past and the present to offer energy and attitude with a pinch of nostalgia. I loved the way the beat would switch several times, offer a very emphasized bass-loaded part. The combination of both was awesome as the talented producer glued them together with a beautiful guitar melody theme. The vocal snippets added even more charm to this composition.
Anitek happens to be a multi-faceted talent and besides music, he's also a photographer and videographer. And he certainly has a demanding eye when it comes to visuals, hence the intriguing artwork of the track. But whether or not it's meant to be a political statement, I leave to you to decide.
