Quite surprised to see Frank Turner covering Counting Crows and at the same time I was sure it would be awesome even before playing the video. For those who don't know "Anna Begins" is from Counting Crows' debut record August and Everything After which came out back in 1993. This record is in my Top 5 all time favorites and even though all songs on it are brilliant, "Anna Begins" is one of the most memorable ones.
After the song is done, Frank explains why he did this cover...apparently he started playing Counting Crows covers, because his sister loved them, and of course later on he fell in love with them too.
