Venezuelan producer Arca had just released this animated video of "Thievery", first single of  his forthcoming album Xen. Directed by his longtime collaborator Jesse Kanda, the video maintains the apocalyptic freak-circus aesthetic of their previous contributions; a perfect image for this groundbreaking sounds.

The 24 years-old producer has been giving a lot to talk about lately. Couple of days ago, news of him co-producing Björk upcoming album hit the social media. His first interview conceded after two years of silence was published yesterday by The Fader Producer Issue. And now, he had just released this great video.

For those who doesn't know Arca, you must know he is not a newcomer. It all started 8 years ago in Venezuela, when he was still on his teens. Back them, he produced some nice IDM pop love songs that catch everybody's attention. All Clear, his debut LP as Nuuro, was released by the Mexican Label Soundsister.

Many things have happened since then. He moved to New York, and his music changed and also his artistic name. Developing a darker EDM, he abandoned the friendly pop structures of his previous work. The result was truly innovating. The “weirdness” of Arca's sound catch Kanye West attention, so he was invited to co-produced Yeezus, the sixth album of K.West. Later, Arca would also work with FKA Twigs.

Now, relocated to London, he is finishing what would be Xen, his first LP as Arca; to be out next November 3rd.
