Have you heard Benjamin Booker? This young fellow based in New Orleans had just released this cool video of “Have You Seen My Son?”, the second single of his upcoming self-titled debut album, out next August 19.
Despite the blues-kind title, this song has an energetic punk attitude and a certain Dinosaur Jr vibe that you will love. Nice delta-blues guitar riffs played fast and loud, with an enthusiastic way of singing about religious values in modern world:
“I said God must love everyone Even the ones the church loves the least”
I’m sure that Benjamin Booker will be one of the most promising acts of the year. Not in vain, he will be touring the US with Jack White this summer; just before hitting Europe next September.
