So it finally happened! Several months ago I discovered the kickstarter project of Lara Somogyi who was aiming to gather funds in order to produce a dozens of covers playing on her electroacoustic harp. Yup, you read it right. I do not know much about ordinary traditional harp, let alone electroacoustic one but I would be lying to you if I say I was not intrigued by her project. I love the way it sounds plus there is something about its shape - ancient, mythological and romantic. The last three adjectives are part of my gullible imagination.

About the project - apparently it was successfully funded as you are listening to the second track which is a cover of "Holecene" by Bon Iver. It's a pure instrumental that somehow sounds both crisp and mellow with a very relaxing sense to it.

If you like what what you are listening, check out Lara's first cover of "Pompeii" by Bastille.

Stay up to date.
