It's been such a long time since I've heard something that's excited me quite as much as this debut track/ video from UK cyber-synth duo GUNSHIP (I feel I've made that genre up, but it's I think it's pretty apt).

The pair behind the project are Al Westaway and Dan Haigh ; names that might sound familiar as the rhythm guitarist and bassist of post-hardcore band Fightstar. Keen to test new waters, the guys have come completely out of left field with this phenomenal video directed by Damian Nenow. The vid is cut from a longer piece from the director called Paths of Hate, which I highly recommend checking out with the link here.

The deep vibrating synth and driving, mechanic beat meshes almost too perfectly with the graphic novel-esque video to create a gloriously rich cinematic experience. Right now all we know about GUNSHIP is that they have a 10 track album coming out at some point this year, and if "Fly For Your Life" is anything to go by, it's going to be fucking awesome.

Stay up to date.
