UK Hip Hop is bloody brilliant, there i said. However, if there is one piece of the Hip Hop puzzle that still hasn't found its place across the pond then UK Hip Hop is it.

But what is it that stops it from crossing over, is it the accent maybe? Perhaps it's the odd culture references? Or is it just a case of Americans being happy with what they already have?

Whatever it is, in 2015 folks are seriously missing out on some of the best Hip Hop. From Little Simz to Hawk House to The Age Of L.U.N.A there's some awesome UK Hip Hop being created.

Which brings me to Isaac Danquah, he makes fractured soul and abstract hip hop with lyrical content that deals with everyday social issues.

Take a listen to his track "Introspective," which comes complete with bleak visuals courtesy of director João Retorta. The video perfectly encapsulates Danquah's somber musings about the pressures on his generation.

The track is taken from his mixtape called The Boy Meets Man Experiment , which you can stream and download from his SoundCloud.
