French pop is flourishing these days and one of its talented representants is Mina Tindle. She matches both French and English in her songs with incredible ease. She thus transports us in her poetic universe, in which Mediterranean influences merges with anglo-saxon pop traditions.

"Pas les Saisons" is the third extract of her forthcoming album Parades, due on the 6th of October via Believe Recordings.

The song is sung exclusively in French and the video revolves around the corrida theme.
Disarming a bullfighter is quite a nice metaphor to sing about the hopelessness you feel when you have to move on. Dressing him with his fastuous outfit evokes these walls we build around ourselves to show our strength; however the bullfighter's resolved expression hints at our vulnerable cracks. The upbeat melody gives rhyhtm and optimism to the journey that is life.

I particularly like the aesthetic of the video: the interplay with the reflections in the mirror, the warm hues and contrasted colors that echoes the upbeat melody.
The video has been directed by Noel Paul and features Allan Tall impersonating the bullfighter.
