Every single time I want to share this (tiny bit old) video it's Friday, so this time I'm preparing this post from Wednesday and schedule it for another awesome #throwbackthursday! I found the Portugese PAUS because they were playing on the pretty famous in the Netherlands Eurosonic Festival.
Before anything else - the two drummers are making me so happy! Playing a siamese drum set these guys (Hélio Morais and Quim Albergaria) are doing miracles! Joined by Makoto Yagyu and Fábio Jevelim, these 4 dudes are experimenting with sounds and are the equivalent of awesomeness!
"Deixa-me Ser" or translated into English - "Let Me Be" has this very empowering rock sound which makes me want to go to a festival. Also, there's something really cool about the way those lyrics sound. Those guys must be kicking ass during the summer open airs in Portugal...
edit1: the two drummers remind me of a post-rock band called Tortoise, but that's long story for another time
