The Australian post-rock band sleepmakeswaves which I had the chance to share with you not that long ago are ready with a new release! The record is called Love of Cartography and is already officially out in Australia. The rest of us should wait a bit longer, but nonetheless - the music is out there. Today we have the pleasure to share their latest music video for "Great Northern" directed by Bradley Coombs (outstanding work!).
As said in my last post, I never had the chance to dig deeper in their music, but I think this release would be a milestone in my "relationship" with their art. "Great Northern" is beyond beautiful and it feels like a break-away from the typical post-rock sounds we all know (and nonetheless love dearly). The scent of chiptune sounds is absolutely brilliant!
