In spite of their Danish origin, The Raveonettes carry a vibe of classic American surf-rock and 1960s avant-garde so authentic you can hardly believe they are a band of this century . Their seventh album Pe’ahi, released unexpectedly on July 22 and produced by M83 producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen, continues the garage-rock revival trend with its lo-fi sound, shoegaze reverb and two-part vocal harmonies.

Actress, director and former model Rie Rasmissen has written and directed the second video for a song off the new album (after "Endless Sleeper") - "Killer In the Streets". The video resembles a trailer for a modern-day film noir featuring a long-legged femme fatale and inexplicable acts of violence.
