Tomike is an alternative R&B, neo-soul singer/songwriter born in Dublin to Nigerian parents. The singer has a mature and definite sound, taking influence from the likes of Erykah Badu, Sade and Amy Winehouse. Since Tomike’s debut EP ‘Stages of Love’ (2019) which remains on the radio to this day, she has had a number of stand out moments such as being picked as one of British Airways’ Next Big Things for her single ‘You Don’t Really Rate Me’ playing in-flight during 2019/2020, being highlighted as a ‘Black Artist to Watch’ by BBC Introducing Merseyside, packed performances throughout Dublin venues and wonderful digital performance for the Hotpress Y&E series. 2021 has been full of writing, collaboration and preparation for an exciting future. Tomike performed a live set for Liverpool Sound City Festival (April 2021) and Outline Studios (May 2021) in between shooting content for upcoming projects and collaborations. The singer also appeared on RTE’s brand new show ‘The Talk’ alongside rapper and songwriter Celaviedmai (May 2021).
